LG extends the warranty until June 30th
After the other big consumer electronics, too LG has decided to extend the free service coverage period for all devices – telephony, appliances and audio-video products, air conditioners – whose guarantee expired between 1 March and 4 May. Now there will be time until 30 June 2020 to enjoy the same assistance services exactly as under warranty. All other LG conventional warranty terms and conditions, as set out in the warranty card accompanying the product, remain unchanged.
“The choice – explains the company in a note – born from LG’s willingness to support consumers even in a critical period such as the current one, in which it can become difficult to resort to assistance in time (for health reasons or because of the lockdown) and it can become even more unpleasant to manage the malfunction of an appliance. The decision falls within the initiative #LGCares which expresses the company’s support to the people, directly and indirectly, involved in the fight against Covid-19 in the belief that technology must and can be an essential partner not only in daily life but also in critical moments, such as the current one ».
