Huawei has announced the new models in China Nova 7 5G, Nova 7 Pro 5G and Nova 7 SE 5G which will replace last year’s acclaimed Nova 6 series.

Nova 7 and Nova 7 Pro feature an exclusive design and high-end specifications such as curved OLED displays, all-glass finishes and the brand new Kirin 985 5G processor. The cheapest, Nova 7 SE, is powered by the chipset Kirin 820 but it supports 5G. Smartphones also have a four-camera department from 64 Megapixels and 40W quick charge support.

Huawei Nova 7

Nova 7 sports a 6.53-inch Full HD + OLED display with 60Hz refresh rate, 2,400 x 1,080 pixel resolution, HDR10 support and a single “hole” for the selfie camera. It is powered by the new Kirin 985 processor with an integrated 5G modem based on the 7 nm production process. We then find 8 GB of Ram and 128/256 GB internal memory which is further expandable via MicroSD card. The battery is a 4,000 mAh element.

We then find four square cameras consisting of a primary sensor from 64 Megapixels, an 8 Megapixel wide angle lens and a pair of 2 Megapixel sensors.

Huawei Nova 7 Pro

Huawei Nova 7 Pro, on the other hand, sports a 6.57-inch Full-HD + OLED display with 2340 × 1080 pixels resolution and pill-shaped design. Despite being the high-end model, Nova 7 Pro comes with the same Kirin 985 processor paired with 8 GB of Ram and up to 256 GB of internal memory.

The operating system is based on Android 10 with EMUI 10.1 custom skin while the photographic department has a 64 Megapixel main camera, an 8 Megapixel periscope lens with OIS and 50x digital zoom, another 8 Megapixel lens and a 2 Megapixel sensor . There is also a 4,000 mAh battery here.

Huawei Nova 7 SE

The Nova 7 SE refers to the Nova 7 but comes with some lower specifications to offer itself as a low cost model. The smartphone sports a 6.5-inch Full-HD + LCD display and is powered by the Kirin 820 5G chipset instead of the more recent Kirin 985. The chipset is associated with 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal memory. Like its big brothers, Nova 7 SE also houses a 4,000 mAh battery and supports 40W fast charging.

Range prices

The price of the Huawei Nova 7 5G in China is set at around € 390 for the 8/128 GB variant and € 450 for the 8/256 GB storage option. The Nova 7 Pro price starts from € 480 for the 8/128 GB variant and reaches € 540 for the 8/256 GB version. Finally, the low cost Nova 7 SE starts from € 310.

All three smartphones will be available for pre-orders starting today and will go on sale in China from April 28th.
