Galaxy Fold 2 will arrive with a refresh rate of 120HZ for the display
According to reports from Ross Young, founder and analyst of DisplaySearch & DSCC, the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 will include a display with 120Hz refresh rate as well as a 7.59-inch main display with a resolution of 2213 x 1689 pixels (372 dpi). There will also be a hole for the display camera valid for both the main and external panels.
Young says that Samsung wanted to use a camera under the display but the technology is not yet ready. The source also confirms that the Galaxy Fold 2 will include an S-Pen, the same as the Galaxy Note series from which it will inherit many other software features.
It’s not all. It is also expected to see UTG (Ultra Thin Glass) on Galaxy Fold 2, the same display protection as the Galaxy Z Flip. As for the smaller external display, however, Young says it will measure 6.23 inches, offer a resolution of 2267 x 819 pixels at 60Hz with LTPS technology.
Exit and price
Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 will arrive simultaneously to the series Galaxy Note 20. These models are expected to become official in August although they may be delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
