Covid-19 Tracking: Tracking codes for health apps arrive from Google and Apple
Google and Apple have a cross-platform tracking solution in the pipelineCovid-19 emergency and, today, the two companies have provided a first version to a small circle of developers.
The first version of the contact tracking solution comes with a Tes Codet which will allow developers to see how the solution will work in order to work with public health authorities who will have access to information. Technology will stop tracking once the pandemic dies out.
It hasn’t been long since Google and Apple announced their partnership to create a tool to counter COVID-19. Now, with a test code for developers and health authorities, the new solution is getting closer and more concrete.
Next, developers will need to create an app that embraces the new contact tracking technology that will be made available like any game or utility app. The new solution may be available on Google Play and the App Store as early as mid-May.
The new contact tracking solution will use Bluetooth, provide random keys (constantly changing for users) and will never provide names or contact information.
