China prepares revenge on the United States via Apple
According to media reports close to the sources, China is planning a law enforcement action against a number of American companies including Apple, Qualcomm and Boeing in an attempt to take revenge after Huawei was banned from the United States.
A Global Times report indicates that China plans to create a “list of unreliable entities” that would include foreign companies such as Apple. In addition, it appears that China wants to stop the acquisition of Boeing airplanes.
The plan is also to announce one set of restrictions while initiating investigations related to cybersecurity and anti-monopoly law that could possibly affect their operations.
In mid-May 2019 the United States banned Huawei from working with American companies by extending the restrictions for another year and blocking semiconductor shipments with tragic consequences for the entire production chain.
